The organic forms of my serving set are designed for relaxed yet elegant dining. The undulating rim and oval shapes create a unified character. Its central piece is the “Wave Bowl,” which, with its representative presence, dominates the interior and highlights the material qualities of porcelain. The wave appears in the gentle rocking motion of the shakers, while this same curve defines the entire body of the beverage pitcher. These shakers don’t hide away in a drawer — they become table ornaments, small kinetic sculptures. Their shape depends on where the steel plug acting as a counterweight is placed: they lean, tilt, and settle, like a modern roly-poly toy. Every position creates a new character — pointed, flattened, or angled — turning the object into a playful field, a visual statement, and a functional piece at the same time.

The undulating edge and oval shape give a unified character, its central element is the “Wave Bowl”, which dominates the interior with its representative appearance and highlights the material properties of porcelain. Their form is shaped by the placement of the steel plug that acts as a center of gravity: they tilt, tip, and settle, like a contemporary roly-poly toy.
