The Narrative Relationship Between Art and Space

PARQUET PAINTINGS

Memory Within Space
material / nature / time / imprint

The parquet paintings originate from the inherent structure of the material itself. Transparent layers of paint preserve the natural grain of the wood, while a hidden image gradually reveals itself within the space.

CONCEPT

Image Within the Surface

The motifs do not sit on top of the parquet surface, but unfold from its material and structure. The natural pattern of the wood becomes an active element of the composition, transforming the floor from a functional surface into part of the spatial experience.

STURGEON

Ancient Form Within the Floor

The grain of the oak floor functions like a water surface from which the shape of an ancient creature slowly emerges. The sturgeon — once a defining species of the Danube and now a critically endangered “living fossil” — appears as a hidden presence within the space, evoking the memory of nature.

FALLEN SILENCE

Nature as Imprint

The motif of leaves and the structure of the wood merge through translucent layers. The surface does not appear as an image placed within the interior, but becomes a quiet atmospheric presence within the space.

SPACE AND PERCEPTION

The parquet paintings operate together with the interior environment: the encounter between natural motifs and the built space creates a new perceptual layer within the architecture.

NARRATIVE WALL DRAWINGS

Graphic Installation and Visual Spatial Identity
drawing / story / connection / space

Narrative Wall Drawings are site-specific graphic installations that transform drawing into an architectural element of the interior. The figures and gestures function as visual actors entering into dialogue with one another.

SPACE AND IDENTITY

Improvisational white gestures become active elements of the graphic composition. The wall surface simultaneously functions as a visual focal point and a spatially defining element.

CONCEPT

Stories on the Wall

The drawn elements form smaller clusters, creating dialogues and open narrative situations. The composition does not tell a closed story, but offers an associative space for the viewer.

FURNITURE PAINTINGS

Narrative Surfaces on Functional Objects
object / image / function / presence

Furniture paintings emerge at the intersection of image and object. The painted surface becomes a defining element of the furniture’s character and spatial presence.

CONCEPT

Image as Functional Object

The works explore how a functional object itself can become part of the narrative structure of space.

OBJECT AND SPACE

The works explore how a functional object itself can become part of the narrative structure of space.
