The interplay of space and illusion within a painterly structure. I was interested in the spatial organization and movement of forms that are different in their surface but similar in tone. I experimented with shiny and different matte layers. Due to the optical properties of the materials, the painted gestures and the environment interact and add up in a reflective way. The painted light and the real light enter into a dialogue, setting the viewer in motion to discover the resulting image.
