Ultramarine Blue Sculpture<\/h5>\n

This sculpture was realized as the winning entry of the \u201c21 Dialogues \u2013 Public Art\u201d competition and is installed at the side of the Fordan Center in P\u00e9cs.

The motif of a staircase that has lost its function inspired the realization of this work.\nBy exploring the relationship between ultramarine blue and black, I experienced the intense, almost mystical spatial effect created by these two colors.\nBlue comes alive through black, pulsing so powerfully that the contours of form dissolve, while black seems to suspend the blue mass before itself.\nThis optical phenomenon serves to articulate the core idea of the work: the possibility of passage into a fictive space.

Ceramics, resin, metal and pigment are not technical tools for me, but bodies that convey feelings. 
\u201cI don\u2019t make objects, I create situations.\u201d\n <\/h3>\n

 The staircase that lost its function\nmotivated me to creat this work.
By examining the relationship between ultramarine blue and black, I experienced\nthe intense, for me mystical, spatial effect created by these two colors\u2014a\nsense of passage into a fictional space.
This intense effect encourages the viewer to investigate, to come closer,\nthereby reintegrating the forsaken structure\u2014the staircase\u2014into its original\nfunction.

This neglected space is usually the domain of hurried passersby, whose\nattention is captured by the hypnotic effect of the blue, slowing their steps.\nThus, the space is expanded not only towards itself but also influences the\nplane of time.<\/i>\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
