Celestial Phenomena

The objects in the series evoke celestial bodies\u2014both visible (the Moon, the Sun) and invisible planets\u2014set within varying atmospheric environments. Through the continuous transformation of positive and negative forms, they recall planets revolving in infinite space.
Through their visual language, material presence, and the notion of mobility, the works resonate with the realm of automotive design. Each sculpture showcases automotive paint finishes in a distilled, representative form.

I experimented with shimmering, reflective surfaces, observing the chance visions created by the encounter of object and light upon the form.
The works were realized in two different materials: the larger, wall-mounted pieces are made of resin with automotive lacquer finishes, while the smaller,
 tabletop versions are cast in concrete and treated with painterly surface techniques.

Dialogue
Two poles - like the contrast between male and female - give rise to  
a striking vision through the interplay of positive and negative forms. An illusion of endless suspension and movement. \n <\/h3>\n

The  objects in the  series  embody  celestial bodies - both  visible  ( the Moon,  the Sun ) and invisible planets - set  within  shifting atmospheric environments. Through the continuous transformation of positive and negative forms, they  evoke  planets  rotating in the infinity of  space.\nI experimented with  shimmering,  reflective  surfaces,  observing the chance-born visions  created  by the interplay of object and light upon the form. The works were realized in two  materials: the  larger, wall-mounted pieces  are cast in resin and finished with automotive lacquer, while the smaller, table-top versions are made of concrete, their surfaces treated with painterly techniques.\nThe series engages with the concept of  mobility through its appearance,  materiality, and underlying notion of movement. The sculptures present automotive paint finishes in a representative  way: 
black \u2013 BMW, blue \u2013 Audi,  silver \u2013 Volkswagen, Seat.
In some places, the drawings are only just begun, serving to define and give form to the patch.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
